If I was a stalker, would I be a starving artist?
There is more than technical beauty to this. There's emotion... feeling... a kind of mental tingling that I get from letting my eyes roam over it. I cannot begin to imagine the deeper meaning... or how MANY meanings such a piece with such a title is meant to convey. So much of this is haunting, giving me the chills... making me want to look away, but at the same time there's so much as well that makes me want to stare deeper, to see more than what my first-glance eyes can detect in a moment. The skeletal exposure, and the way that the figure is deteriorating brings a sense of instability, of limitation, time run out. I know none of this sounds logical, or possibly even makes sense... But like I said, I don't know how to say what I want to say. THis piece deserves more than 5 comments, and those more than a simple pat on the back (though that is always a good thing). I see the Daily Deviation crowd didn't look much deeper into your gallery? What a shame.
I'm sorry to ramble so far, but I still haven't said anything I wanted to. Perhaps I'll return later, and see if I can find a way to express what this piece has made me feel, ne? Have a great day.
